So, I just built my computer and I want to transfer my files from another PC to my current one. Problem is, the hard drive of the other PC has Windows 10 installed on it as well. What should I do? Will it mess anything up if I do add the hard drive to my current PC?

Solution
You shouldn't have any problems. Your computer will boot the OS from the harddrive you designate first, (I assume you know how to do this) then allocate a letter for the other drive. You should then be able to transfer the files you want from the old drive. I recommend reformat the drive once your done. I always use an external hard drive for transferring my important files so I always have a back up. Then I back up that one.
