[SOLVED] two generations of Crucial Ram load Windows, but cause lag on buffering Youtube videos. Can I fix this in BIOS?

I just mistakenly bought 2 Crucial Ballistix sticks of 8gb ram (BL8G30C15U4B) , 3000 mhz speed. It's the revamp of the old Micron Ballistix Sport LT (BLS8G4D30AESBK ), same capacity, same speed as far as I can tell.
I tested all sticks and ports, and they all work individually, and the new ram works on it's own. But when I get all 4 sticks in, Youtube videos can stutter occasionally.

I watched this video:

,
and in the comments someone said they got them to work together, but didn't list how, and in the video it says the "JEDEC timings" are slightly different. In addition, the new sticks are 8-layer, and the old sticks are 10-layer.

Supposedly they are both CAS-15 latency, but I'm assuming there's some secondary or tertiary stuff behind the scenes I can't see that's different. Maybe I can run them all at the same, slower speed or higher latency? If so, how do I do that in the BIOS?
