I currently have an Asus Tuf x570 Plus motherboard and an RTX 3080 as my main GPU for gaming. I have an nVidia Quadro 410 that I put on the secondary PCIe slot (not the furthest from the CPU). When I turn the computer on, Windows sees the Quadro as GPU1 and the 3080 as GPU2.

My computer seems unstable afterward. All the monitors will flake out (like it's being unplugged). The running game will close. Wallpapers will get screwed up. There is one game that would not even launch, would crash after launch.

Anyone have any thoughts on why adding that card would cause all these issues?

Conflicting drivers and Windows confusing which GPU is supposed to do what immediately come to mind. Why the second GPU at all?

Also, what is the make/model of your power supply (PSU)?

I have a "need" for a 5th monitor.

Power supply is the Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 850W however the Quadro does not have a power connector. It gets it power from the PCIe slot.

I was unable to find drivers for the 410 but Windows had drivers that are very up to date based on the driver date. I am not sure why the secondary card is being seen as GPU1, can I manually set that? I would ASSUME it would assign that based on slot?

Understood on "need". Your PSU is likely at its limit to support both GPUs. Even though the Quadro pulls all its power from the PCIe slot, you are still putting a significant load on your PSU (the 3080 alone calls for a 750w PSU).

If you remove the Quadro/5th display, is your rig 100% stable, even under a max load?
