Two GPUs on 500w PSU

Hi,
I currently have a MSI 1050 gaming 2gb in my pc with a 500w psu. I have a Radeon HD 5770 laying around and was wondering if I could put it in my pc to run on an extra monitor. Do I have enough power to power both of these GPUs?

Mixing an AMD and an NVIDIA graphics card in the same system is usually asking for trouble getting drivers to work. Not worth the hassle. What CPU/motherboard do you have? How many total monitors are you running now?

You can run two monitor with just the 1050 I think you need a dvi splitter, then you can split the signal in two.

A "dvi splitter" will, at best, allow two monitors to display the same image. Not what I believe the OP wants ...

I have an amd fx-8350 and a msi 990fxa gaming motherboard, 2 monitors, looking to add a third

WHAT 500w PSU is in your system? A good quality unit could run both cards; a cheap one might blow itself up doing so.

An FX 8350, a 500W power supply and mixing AMD and NVIDIA cards is just a bad idea from every view point. Just sell it.
