Two GTX 295s on a Gigabyte MA-790FXT-UD5P?

I've yet to find an exact answer to my question. I have Gigabyte's MA-790FXT-UD5P motherboard and it has dual PCI-E 2.0 X16 slots. I read the sticky on SLI/Crossfire but i'm still not 100% on this yet.

I want to eventually buy another GTX 295 and want to know if it will be compatible and work properly, since the board is neither SLI or Crossfire certified. I would assume that it would work since it does have the two PCI-E 2.0 slots but I'm just not 100% on it. Obviously I want to be absolutely certain it will work considering the card costs $475-$500.

So will my motherboard be able to have two GTX 295s and be able to see all four GPUs and have all of them working?

No, your motherboard does not support SLI. It does support ATI crossfire, though. The only chipsets that support SLI are Nvidia Nforce chipsets and the Intel X58 chipset.

wow...that really sucks majorly...

I would consider two 4870 X2s I guess, but they consume much more power.
