Two hard drives booting issue?

So i have two hard drives one with a OS and one for just storage and every time the PC boots i'm sure it try's to boot into the hard drive without the OS and it takes like 5 restarts before it boots into the right hard drive. Any way to set the hard drive (without the OS) as a non bootable drive so the PC wont try to boot from it?

All you have to do is set the right boot order in BIOS.

But it may not be your second HDD, that is causing this.
Try disconnecting your non OS HDD and see, how that changes things.

Was your secondary drive connected to the computer when you first installed Windows on the primary drive? If so, the boot files may have been written to the secondary drive.

I recently formatted the drive so there is nothing on it except videos.

Well yes it boot from the only hard drive connected, that's what it did before i even ever thought of adding storage tom this pc. And the second hard drive it set to the bottom in boot order and the PC still trys to boot from it it seems like.

There is a separate part named "Exculled from boot" I put the other hard drive there but I'm afraid that the hard drive won't be on when the pc is fully booted

Ok im in the OS and the hard drive is still there, I think my issue is fixed!

I don't think that will be the case. But you can try and if the secondary drive is not seen after boot, just change the setting and we'll try something else.

Yha that was not the case and the hard drive is still usable
