Two Hard drives won't stop sharing after OS was re-installed. How to fix.

Hey all,

So I re-installed Windows 7 on my 500gb Hard drive, which I've done before with no issues, and now it and my other 160gb Hard drive won't stop acting as one. My 160gb had OS re-installed and copied everything I've done to my main 500gb instead of being separate like before the re-install. I checked this by unplugging my 500gb and accessing my 160gb. Booted up no problem. I uninstalled the games and such I didn't want on it as well as changed the wallpaper so I could tell for sure I was on the right hard drive. I then plugged back in the 500gb, booted it up, and found everything I've just done on the 160gb copied over to the main.

I can see both drives, C and E, when I go to computer except now the 160gb hard drive has the windows icon on the bottom, left corner of the drive icon. Only other thing I can think of that may have affected this is I took out the 160gb to test out on another PC but found out that PC was messed up and wouldn't boot even with a working hard drive so I took it back out.

My MoBo BIOS says it's in AHCI mode and, after trying, it won't even boot up in any other mode. Was told it sounded like it was in RAID mode for some reason but it's not; least in the BIOS. I want to get it back how it was before the last OS re-install where I could switch between both hard drives through BIOS settings when I boot up the computer and could easily keep both hard drives content separated and just drag whatever I wanted over. Any ideas as to what happened and how to fix it?

TL/DR:

Have 2 hard drives that won't stop copying each other after I re-installed Windows 7 on one of them. I can see both in computer, C and E drives, but when I do something to one, it does it to the other as well. BIOS says I'm in AHCI mode and I couldn't get the PC to boot in any other mode anyways. Want to get it back like before where both hard drives were Separate but I could easily drag and drop whatever I wanted over to the other while being able to boot up either one when I first start up through the BIOS settings. Any idea how? Thanks.

Is there another way for me to check and/or change it from RAID settings? BIOS says it's not and my computer gets blue screen if I try to boot it up in RAID.
