Two hard drives?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to put on two hard drives, a cdrw, cdrom, and dvdrom on a computer?

ie. are there such things as a ide cable with three plugs rather than two? Since I only have two ide plugins on the motherboard, and my ide cables can only connect to two pieces of hardware each ...

I guess I could take out the cdrom, but that would be a waste of it just sitting in the closet :)

Thanks!

No, there are no IDE cables with 3 device connectors. However, you can add in what's called an IDE controller card in PCI format and that will allow you to connect more IDE devices to your computer.

you can also use a DVD/CD-RW both functions in one drive
put the money from the adapter toward a raid controller maybe?

Yes you can, I have 2 cdroms and 4 hard drives on my system. I have a Raid controller in my system or you can also buy an udma 100-controller card. Plus i would go with a DVD/burner cd-rom just like what Jusphil said.
