Two inputs on a monitor

hi, would it be possible to have two inputs to be controlled (like on a tv). Foir example can i connect my pc to my monitor then connect the xbox to the computer with some hardware to be played on the monitor. I would not like to invest in a tv as i do not want to spend much. I believe a monitor can only control one input so i was wondering if there was another way to be able to have two inputs without switching the cable every time.

Many monitors have two or three inputs. For example, one of my PCs has a DVD player also connected to the monitor and I can switch from one to the other by pressing the Input button on the monitor.
