I have an Xspc photon 270 d5 pump res now, it has two inlets one outlet, if I put a y splitter at the outlet could I use it at two separate loops? And if so will a single d5 vario pump be enough for it

If it was two loops it would be

When you say two separate loops you should have two res'. Having the loop split at the outlet and where the pump is while the inlets meet at the res means that you're trying to accomplish a parallel loop. You could do what you're intending to do though you'd be better off to have the loop serially but have it run parallel at the GPU area until it exits and meets at the res either in serial form or parallel form.

One pump would do but if you have too many restrictive parts, i.e multiple GPU's in 3 or way SLI then you're required to go for a secondary pump, a parallel loop or a secondary loop to isolate the flow and thermal dissipation.
