Hi,

I just got a new desktop with the Asus P6T motherboard and two PNY VCQFX1800-PCIE-PB Quadro FX 1800 cards.

First, these cards say SLI on the box, but there is not SLI port to connect the cards.

Do I have to do a bios setting so that these cards are accepted as SLI?

Second, If thse cards do not have SLI, can I still have both cards work independently and drive a separate monitor? If yes, how to achieve that?

And will that give better performance than just a single card?

Or is it useless and I should just return one of the cards?

Thank you for your help.

Regards

You can connect a monitor to each card.
It also has 2 DisplayPort sockets. Not sure which monitors use DisplayPort.
You can have potentially two monitors for each card.
Both cards can work independently and drive a separate monitor if you like.
