Two Questions About Storage...

On my Alienware 17 it originally came with a 1tb hdd so I had my tech replace this with a 1tb ssd, was this a good idea?
I think he left the 128gb boot up ssd in place.
My tech also said something about additionall storage slots, does anyone know anything about this on the Alienware 17?

Replacing the original HDD with a SSD was a GREAT IDEA I´m sure you already noticed a boost in loading times and overall performance.
About the additional storage slots I think he was talking about the M.2 slots and if I’m not mistaken you have 2 or M.2, that works 4x and 2x, you can consult your model specs in order to verify this info.
