Two questions for a good GPU (gtx 970)

Hi guys! I've two question

I'm looking for a gtx 970, and:

- Which is the best brand that I can buy? I've found the evga gtx 970 FTW, asus STRIX, Gigabyte and MSI, but I don't know the differences between these etc...
- I've a PCIe 2.0 slot, but this graphic card is 3.0. In terms of performace, how much could I lose instead have a PCIe 3.0 mobo?

MSI's construction and build quality put it head and shoulders above the others..... read the detailed review here paying close attention to the component and component details.

MSI > Asus > EVGA .... Gigabyte didn't participate

Usually with these coolers you can drop the fan speeds till they are near silent and the temps are still OK . Or leave them at default and have good OCing headroom

The graphics card will perform identically in a pci-e x16 2.0 slot
3.0 is the future , but the bandwidth is not needed yet
