How do I access the photograph for display from the camera you receive as a
career reward?

How do I turn the censor grid back on? (for visiting nephews and nieces!)

if you have earned the camera, have the sim take a photo with it. Then,
after the photo "develops" (ie, slides out near the side of the camera) go
into buy mode and pick up the photo. You can hang it on the wall or sell
it.

Go into buy mode and then zoom in close on the camera. Once you get close
enough, you'll see the photo sticking out of the right-hand side. Grab it
with the hand tool, and place it on the wall or on a tabletop.

Thinking they should have made it easier,

Can't help you with the first one, but for the second one, go to the Config
folder in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 and open the userStartup Cheat
file. Change "intprop censorgridsize 0" to "intprop censorgridsize 70" (I
think it's 70 -- might have to experiment a bit to get the size right)
