Anyone so polite to clarify this for me?

My laptop PC has two USB ports together on one side. If I plug 2 USB 3.0 devices on these ports (such as 2 fast SSDs), will they share the 5Gbps bandwidth? or will each device have the maximum 5Gbps available?

Any help much welcome

Solution
I think so.
I had a recent experience.
On one front panel port I had an app that was backing up to a usb connected ssd and really hammering it.
In the other port, I had a usb mouse adapter.
The mouse action was very erratic. Changing to a different rear panel usb port fixed it.

Absolutely outrageous, for some reason I was convinced that you can get all that speed on each device.
Thank you
