Two way SLI connected MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr

I've heard from people that in their opinion it's the best option available, I am wondering what sort of performance this can achieve on different res monitors on ultra high end games (I imagine it won't be too hard to find others that use two 970's as it's hardly unpopular). This is the rig I am planning to build.

140 fps @ 1080p and 60 fps @ 1440p. 4k is still going to really want a gtx980 or better SLI.

this would be using only the newest AAA titles at max settings for the above fps. this is from personal experience, if you want more evidence there are a bunch of reviews out there

I mean the original question was directed at me having two sli connected 970's then I wanted to know what the fps of one is, so is that fps of one? If it is what's the fps of two?

I was wondering what you meant by the question. the fps for one card will be almost exactly half for each resolution(plus about 10-20% depending on the game since nothing scales perfectly). with absolute max settings on gtaV at 1440p you will get around 35fps.
