Hello after upgrading from 32 to 64 bit Windows 7 i have progam files (x86) & program files folder also in the d drive. This was my first time reinstalling the software so i'm not professional with any formatting. What could have gone wrong ?

Solution
So....2 drives
Disk 0 = 500GB which is the current C drive, and Disk 1 = 120GB, which is presumably the old 32bit C drive.
Correct?

And you installed the 64bit OS on the 500GB drive with both drives connected.
So the result is, your boot options show both OS's.

You need to remove the boot option for the old 32bit OS, and you need to Format the D partition, which contains the 32bit OS.
(if I am correct in my assumption above)

32bit to 64bit is a clean install, not simply an upgrade.

So you installed the 64bit OS on a different drive or partition? If so, then sure...the original 32bit still exists, in whatever space it was in.
Nother went 'wrong', except that you now appear to have 2 OS's installed.
One of them needs to go.

Can you post a screencap of your Disk Management window?

USAFRet Yes this exactly must be the issue since i also have two of the Windows 7 system options available on my boot manager. The first one, takes me to my original 64bit whilst second, back to 32bit system back before i reinstalled it (all of my old files and is still there on desktop undeleted.)

For the screencap of the device manager: I have set both of my 32 & 64 bit systems to Polish as not all of my family who use my pc can speak good English. Anyway i shall translate it word for word if that helps.

harrisjb78 Both of the Program files folders are of the same size on the c and d drive. On properties it displays the same result they're both 3.03gb size and 3.05GB size on disk.

Before sending you my printscreens i activated my disk 0 current C drive partition. My bad. is there a way to undo this ?
Yet if not can i still format my D partition without affecting all of the Files in the C drive.

Disconnect ALL drives except for the 500GB.
This presumably has the 64bit OS on it, right?

Does the system boot properly?
