TX650W with (2x) XFX 4870's

I just bought a whole system, 2 XFX 4870s on a Corsair tx650w PSU. The PSU doesn't have 4x6 pins. It has 2x. The XFX cards came with two 4 to 6 pin adapters but then the quick install said not to use them! wtf am I supposed to do? I'm already anticipating returning it for 750w or 850w but would this work and why does XFX include adapters but say not to use them?

You can use them they'll work fine. Not sure why they said that.

The 650TX has enough power for 2x HD 4870s...
You can use those power apaptors...

It is a review about Cyberpower Dragon PC, which has a config X4 955 Overclocked + 2x HD 4890s in crossfire, all powered by the Corsair 650TX...
And you have 2x HD 4870s, which consume less power than the 4890s...So you should be fine...

Corsair PSU's have one large rail no load balancing needed.

The Corsair 1000HX has dual 12V and the 620HX and 520HX has 3 12V...
but the rest of the Corsair PSUs have only a single large 12V like jsc pointed out...
So as the 650TX has only a single 12V rail, he wouldn't have to worry about load balancing...
