Hi Everyone,

I recently Purchased a prebuild from I thought a great company, and due to all the scalpers and parts unavailable, cheaper than paying insane money. And constantly checking for stock. So pulled the trigger RTX 3090, Computer died after only booting 3 times. Cable management left 8pin plugged into top CPU header, and only removed 2 RGB 12v that were not plugged in to any lighting. An hour later 3 burnt wires and a dead 3000 pound computer.
horrid cables need help
weird PCIE adaptor
cpu8pin connected to the GPU?
strange have no idea what that is? is it supplying extra power?
strange 4pin with 1 pin cable?
cables 4 pin filthy
:pinside PSU, hubby hit the roof 6 weeks for tech to ring back and 3 month for RMA
PSU WIRES
some of the connecters
Anyway since the PSU has been opened the 8 pin CPU wires burnt and when taken out they fell apart.
Warranty canceled no cover for any of the PC because of PSU being opened, even though explained it had burnt out,
12 weeks RMA Hubby mad now PC a paper weight new PSU on order so hopefully not a paperweight
any ideas?
top CPU connecters
better pic of the PCIE extender

motherboard back

Any clue or advise if turns out all parts blown. 3 thousand down the drain.

Cheers Guys

They legally cannot void your warranty for you opening the device. Argue it with them.

If they do still resist you can sue them, but legal fees will sadly cost a lot and not make much sense.
Wait till you see the mess hence the first place my OCD you will understand once I get sum pics up. The PSU |I hope someone can explain as the GPU was connected to 8 pin CPU connecter and about 3 PCIE cables interwoven 3 grand you will see hun,

As you have had the power supply opened up, this would void the warranty on the power supply. With the motherboard replacement / damage that has been discussed (Morris had cable ties the unit so tight and wrapped the 8 pin the 24 pin to hide whatever was going on and changes being made to the system while in your possession we would be voiding the warranty and support on this order moving forwards.

Specialist have given the opportunity for you to return the PC back to us for inspection (12 weeks wait time) of what you are reporting to be faults or problems with the build, so far we had not identified any faults, issues or deviations from industry standards / practices in what you had raised to Specialist
5jGVeHZ.jpg
. You had made allegations that the power cables had melt

ed and come away, I have asked for pictures and we have not yet seen this. (They had melted and come away plastic melts we could smell burning but the wire coil copper ETC does not)

The computer is yours and you have every right to do with it as you wish, but your elected actions mean that Specialist can no longer support and provide you with a warranty on these goods.

The custom made computer we have dispatched to you was not assembled or provided in a dangerous way, the things that you had previously evidenced are normal or part of the components from manufacturer or standard practices. If you feel you need to share your experience with

Specialist online or anywhere else please do so. As advised in our phone call if you feel there is a risk of fire, please pursue this with local fire department. If you feel that something illegal has been provided, please pursue this via your own means.

I will run down some of the points you have raised in your videos, but please note we are not looking to discuss further with you on this.

My husband is going down as not far away he is rebuilding from scratch as we speak I will post the results, I hope they are positive if not, he gonna end up getting arrested,

If the pcie had been plugged into the cpu power connector on the motherboard, the system would have never turned on. I don't think this was the case.

In the photos I see nothing melted, but I do see cables cut and all sorts of other things.

Now I understand why warranty is not honored.

Looks like physical damaged caused by you

Okay, this doesn't make any more sense than the message you've posted bumping some other thread.
Can you please concentrate on all the English-language abilities you have in your head and tell us in clean sentences, what do you think was wrong with this PC before you've murdered the PSU and it's cables, and why you did that ?
I don't see absolutely nothing wrong with the PC on your pictures aside of what remained from the once Corsair TX-m PSU.
The metal shield around PCI-e slot is indeed a factory feature of this (and many other modern) motherboards.
Pictures of cables which are intact you shown us, particularly a picture of 24-pin cable with a bulge and the shrink wrap around it supported by glue is also a factory feature of this (and many other) PSUs, they hide capacitors by this which are there to filter the voltage, otherwise they would've been just hanging there.
A picture of the backside of the motherboard PCB is also, absolutely normal, all i see is some unwashed flux which is used to aid soldering at the factory.
Everything else, except the PSU looks absolutely normal too.
Obviously, they can't provide you the warranty on this prebuild anymore because of your actions, so what do you expect really ?
Honestly, your posts indeed look like you're a some sort of crackhead, i can only imagine how it's to deal with you for the support of this prebuilt PC, so please, concentrate, because otherwise you wouldn't receive any help here either since we can't understand you.
PS: You can drag'n'drop the whole bunch of these pictures AT ONCE to Imgur and ANNOTATE them (do it), and then give us the link for the album, this way they could actually make sense.

Hi Sorry as me suffer bad mental health.

My OCD freaked out with the 4 PCIE cables and one sticking up into the fans. Also the 8pin CPU cable was part of the four cables as it was 8pin CPU in but it was actually 8 pin CPU out to 6 plus 2 pin PCIE

Also if you look me upload more pics the connecters say 6 plus 2 PCIE the connecter has 16 wires instead of 6 plus 2.

Me apologise as me normally build my own PC but due to scalp o ready me money and rob the pirates on a ship of gold. It made sense to buy a prebuilt so me wife treated me as they had 2 move out due to not being able to handle stuff also cannot work now, due to social and that. I have been a support worker and volunteer for the last 10 years looking after young homeless people Lee Goodbody I am still on the website as employed but OC specialist said I cannot work for the foreseeable future.

Is that the correct link Juular?

thankyou for the help

probably get a new psu and this time don't open it.

I had to after it kaput and found so many wires loads of RGB 5v chained together but no RGB connected

Four weeks wait for a tech to ring
RMA up to 3 months for collection
Me have bad mental health issues and very bad OCD couldn't stop as was obsessed why me computer have double the amount of wires connected than needed.
