TYPING WORDS MAKES LETTERS JUMP BACKWARDS

When I am typing at normal speed on the laptop keyboard, something really weird happens. In the middle of a word the next letter suddenly skips backwards and inserts itself randomly in the middle of a previous word breaking up the sentence until you try to correct it. Then it's back to typing as usual before it happens again!!?? Laptop is under warranty but all they said they can do is replace mother board. How can I fix it? Thanks!

are you sure that insert isnt on? hit the insert button on the keyboard and see if it stops

Are you sure your not touching the touch pad when you type? I've seen quite a few people do that and wonder what the heck is going on....

In that case they bought a USB keyboard and the problem went poof! Or...they disabled the touchpad.

Checked and the insert button seems to do the trick and put an end to the jumping alphabet soup thanks.
