Hi

Can you get these on any Z690 boards... or even 11th or 10th gen?

If you could find a board with it - wouldn't this be a fantastic system or audio/video editing drive for fast read/write?
Or would there be some problems using this with the adapter etc?

hmm we have m.2 nvme these days (up to 7.5GBps
u2 was hybrid sata with pci express, it didnt really catch in consumer market, tho it got nvme extensions aswell, its more or less datacenter thing
u3 is a stepup which combines sas with u2
they are quite overprized
If my cursory research on audio/video editing meant anything, most of the application used in those use cases don't really respond much to a faster storage drive if doing everything locally. What matters a lot more is CPU performance and how much RAM you have.

Instead of trying to buy one of these things, do some research to see if storage performance actually benefits your use case.
