Just wondering if anyone with experience with these two monitors could tell which one would be better for gaming purposes (I like blacks and decent refresh times. Low input lag is also nice). If you think that I could get a better 24 inch monitor for around 300-500 bucks then suggestions would be appreciated.

One more question: Do you guys think that I'd need a 27 inch monitor to take advantage of my GPU or would a 24 inch do just fine?

Thanks!

I have a u2410 but not a u2412m. From my understanding the u2412m is better for gaming, while the u2410 is more for photowork (but also good for gaming). The u2412 is really a 6bit panel with a-frc while the u2410 is a true 8 bit panel.

Also look at the hp line, the zr24w, zr2440w, and zr2475w.

I have a 27" monitor (2560x1400) and 2x 580gtx sli. Without sli, I think you are better off at 1920x1200 (24") as you can crank up all the ingame settings.
