I have recently decided to get myself familiar with Ubuntu. During the installation booted from USB , when I get to the part where I decide on which partition I want to install it I can't see the one I separated for Ubuntu. I have one 120 GB ssd with only WIN 10 on it , and a second 1 TB hdd. On the HDD I have 3 partitions , one of them is unallocated 100 GB of size to use only for ubuntu. When I get to the step to chose the partition , it only shows the SSD and HDD without the partitions themself. I am afraid if I play around with the HDD I may lose important files. Also it displays that the status of the drive is unknown. How can I fix this to only select the 100gb partition and install ubuntu there?

After some research, I've fixed my issue. It turns out my HDD was a dynamic disk and once I converted it to basic, the issue was solved
