Hello, I have a PC I'm repurposing as a NAS. It worked fine with Ubuntu 22.04 Server when setting it up. However, after I swapped a larger GPU (GTX 1070) for an older, smaller Nvidia card to make room for HDDs, it gets stuck in a boot loop upon powering on. I can get into boot menu and see my CPU, all the RAM, etc., but not past it. I tried swapping the GPU back, using another good GPU, etc., the problem persists. So the system is broken for now. As I can't get to CLI, I am clueless how to troubleshoot further. Any ideas?

On Windows systems, it's good practice to clean out all the old video drivers and set the OS back to default (generic) VGA, before swapping graphics cards. I've got away without doing this in the past, even when changing between AMD and Nvidia cards, but it seems your Ubuntu 22.04 build has objected to the change and is now corrupted.

I'm not sufficiently conversant with Ubuntu to suggest an easy fix, apart from trying a fresh install on a different drive, to see if 22.04 is compatible with the new GPU. If it works OK, you can transfer personal data from the old drive to the new build and carry on working. Good luck.

Reinstalled OS, to see no bootable drive. Had to remove and recreate my RAID 1 array to get the computer to boot, but working for now. Thanks for the help!
