I am struggling to dl Ubuntu 13.04 on an oem Windows 8 notebook. I have a live boot usb. Tried to download several times and each time was unable to dual boot.
Also I cannot dl from uefi option on the usb.
I have a experience building desktops and am now tempted to rebuild my notebook to make it compatible with Windows 7 and Ubuntu.
I need advice on how to dl Ubuntu 13.04 to my current unit, OR in lieu of that what needs to be replaced so that I can bet win7 and ubuntu? Is it the mother board, the processor? According to Asus my computer is not compatible with windows 7- so I know something needs to be replaced.
