Hello,
My desktop was very old, I upgraded it adding 4 gb ddr3 (Adata brand) Ram. Previous ram was 2gb ddr3 1333 (Twinmos brand) Ram. now I can not install ubuntu, but successfully run windows 10, showing 6 gb ram also. Today when I have unplugged the 4 gb ddr3 (Adata brand) Ram, finally I can install Ubuntu os. but if I plug again the 4gb ram, I can not use Ubuntu os, it just being hanged. what is the actual problem ? and what should I do to resolve it .
I attached memory test screen shot for your information.
Thanks in advance. :)

It could be that you are running two different RAM modules, that were not tested to run in tandem.
Windows might have installed, but that does not mean you will be free of errors down the line.

Use Memtest86+ to test them...and let it run for several passes.
