Ubuntu is corrupting my data

When i copy something on a usb drive on ubuntu and try to copy it on windows it says that the usb is corrupted, but when i put it back in my ubuntu laptop it's all fine. What do i do?

Format the usb drive to FAT32 or exfat in windows and than do your copy
