Question Ubuntu launcher / sidebar

Heloo,
I installed Ubuntu 16.04 as virtual machines and I have problem with launcher / sidebar. I set it to be hidden and reveal position is left side, reveal sensitivity on high. when put my cursor on left edge launcher dont show up. I like Xenial Xerus, later version just geting more and more complicated or Im wrong. I also installed Vbox on my job, what I need to carry my VM on my job where Im installed also Vbox. I choose for virtual disc VMDK, Is it possible to copy all files on USB and run it on another PC?

As long as you copy complete VM folder from the host (VMDK, snapshot files, and VM configuration), you can run it on another place. Just try it

Dunno about the launcher, I am KDE person.
