Short story.
I’ve recently upgraded the ssd in my laptop and re installed Linux.
the only issue being is rather then installing via usb. I stored the iso directly to the ssd via a sata-usb cable. (Using rufus)
the installing has now completed (finally). BUT when booting it’s almost as if it doesn’t recognise the OS and continues to take me to the installation.
does anyone know how to fix this without me having to remove the ssd to remove the installation files manually? Thanks
RESOLVED - I ended up just wiping the drive and reinstalling using a bootable drive. (I think the previous issue was due to me not making an additional partition.
