I cant seem to find a forum any were that answers the question how to get my wifi to work.
ubuntu server 16.04 on old vista gaming rig. Was using hot spot directly pluged in when i was using 16.04 desktop. clean installed to 16.04 server cause I wanted certin things and my upgrade path was leaving some stuff behind i could not find a work around. samba was not working.
i did clean install and now its crashing my hotspot when i plug it in, thought was just install crashing it. trying to use a wifi booster to connect to hotspot but i cant find a, "server wifi for dummies" any were. im a ubuntu noob but i can read and follow directions, and is persistant
