Ubuntu to Windows 8 USB

So I have a laptop I use for school. I haven't had any problems using Ubuntu 14.04 on it and so I haven't worried about it. Now i'm in the point of school where i need to use Microsoft Word and such so im switching. The problem is I have the windows 8 activation key but i don't know how to make a bootable flash-drive of it. I have a 4GB usb but i don't know how to do it. I would appreciate any help. I'm already 2 weeks late on my test due to my lack of windows.

You can't make a bootable flash drive.

But you can buy a new HDD and install Windows 8.1 on it, update all the drivers for your laptop and put Microsoft Word etc on it.

Well that sucks, Anyway thanks for the help I might just get a new school laptop seems more plausable.
