Hello, I need to know if my ram is UDIMM / RDIMM or DIMM, since I'm upgrading it, I now have 4GB DDR4 RAM, I will buy a new 4GB DDR4 RAM so I can have 8GB DDR4 RAM, but I don't know what type of RAM I have, my RAM is:

DIMM is a mechanical and electrical specification. UDIMMs and RDIMMs are two types of DIMMs. UDIMMs can be used virtually everywhere, but RDIMMs are intended for computers with large amounts of installed memory. Many consumer motherboards do not support RDIMMs, only UDIMMs.

yes. I believe the U could stand for un-buffered.
