mobo-z97a uefi
gpu r9 290 tri x oc uefi

uefi uefi uuu eee efff aiiiii

Solution

You should reinstall it into UEFI, but only if the sole reason you're doing it is better frames (mainly because there will be none).

ummmmm so no improved fps in uefi then?

mi english is poor please reply in a clear sense.

No improved fps, so no actual gain in reinstalling into UEFI. Don't do it if the only reason is that you want better fps.

what about win 7->8.1 migration?

Wait for Windows 10, as it'll be a free upgrade for Win 7 and 8 users :).

lets just say ive got win 8.1 . just wondering if its worth upgrading to.

If you already have it (please don't buy) go ahead and upgrade, I like Win 8.1, it's kind of what 8 should have been..... the 10 will be the piece de resistance 😛.

Solution

i upgraded. most of the things in win 8.1 are useless. useless metro ui.everything opens in desktop anyway. kinda like using rainmeter =_= . i dont actually find myself using the start menu very much (just start->type >enter) .it actually seems to me like a performance hog at best. should run like a potato on weaker systems . still , my system does seem more stable now. and so kudos ! 😀

but seriusly , its no better than a rainmeter with a search function. =_=
