Question UEFI BIOS sometimes freezes, and when it works the boot order displays weird symbols ?

Oct 30, 2021
I recently re-installed Ubuntu 20.04 on my laptop alongside Windows 10. I removed the previous system, however, it still showed in my UEFI BIOS. I didn't think much of it until I tried dual booting with Linux again. My laptop boots into Windows 10 on its own fine, however when I try to open the UEFI BIOS it freezes and displays a frozen terminal for lack of a better term. I can force shut down the laptop and load it into Windows just fine, however most of the time the laptop freezes and I am unable to change the boot order. I have tried using "shutdown /r /fw" with no luck.

Additional Information:
I previously installed Ubuntu, however, it was never removed from the UEFI BIOS boot order.
There are also weird symbols in the boot orderwhich I have no idea what in the world they are.
