So I recently installed windows 7 using uefi boot (i think) and so I hopped into bios and decided to change the boot order. I saw this . The samsung ssd is where windows 7 is installed. it says Windows boot manager (Samsung SSD) instead of Uefi: Samsung SSD. I also noticed that the boot up times are a little slow. What can I do? my motherboard is Gigabyte z87x oc Could it be that some sata port have more priority? I have used all 6 ports. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is sata controller set to AHCI in bios and not ide also if it has modes like ide/sata make sure it's set to sata, also make sure to plug in the ssd in the sata ports that are directly connected to the sata1 or sata 2 ports, for boot times there are fast boot settings that makes it skip many tests bios does before booting into windows
