UEFI Update on EVERY boot / wake

I built my PC about 3-4 months ago. Runs perfectly fine when its on and I couldn't be happier. its another story when It wakes up from its slumber.

When the computer idles for a bit and goes into sleep mode or I put in into sleep intentionally after a gaming session - by pressing FN + Sleep key on my Razer keyboard - I have no issues. The issue arises when I push the power button or wake up my computer by clicking the mouse or keyboard, I get a Debug code "04" and it boot cycles 2-3 times and updates the UEFI after the 3rd attempt. After the update, my PC is up and running with no issues. No idea what it means or how to fix it. It happened from time to time since building my pc, but now it occurs EVERY time I wake it up...I cant ignore it any longer. I also rarely get an "E1" error...

The motherboard in question is an AsRock Z270 Taichi. Its paired with an I7 7700k, cooled by a NZXT Kraken x62. EVGA 1080ti FTW 3, 16gb of G.Skill RGB 3200 ram, and a Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD for the OS and files. SanDisk SSD for games and others.

*UPDATE* I did in-fact forget about my PSU...Its a CORSAIR RM750x 750W. my BIOS is also up to date, I thought that might be the issue but they're so old and no new ones have come out so I highly doubt that's the case.
