UFAT ERROR ???

When turn the computer on and the windows login screen start, it's come a blue error screen called "UFAT ERROR", then computer halted.
Does anyone know what's going on here?

Make sure its "V"FAT error not UFAT error.

If thats the case,
1. Try booting in Safe Mode. (press Ctrl while it displays "Starting Windows ME"). Run Scandisk from within Windows if it boots up.
2. use your Windows ME startup disk to boot in command prompt mode and type "scandisk c:" to check the disk for errors.
3. If everything else fails, format it and re-install WindowsME.
