ugrading my pc

I have my old gen pc
quad core q6600 2.4 ghz
gt 9800 512mb
3gb ram ddr2
320gb hdd
so i have just 150$ to upgrade my pc for new games
what should i do ?
buy a gpu and upgrade ram to play new games
gpu like gtx 750 ti ?
is this good decision ?
i just want to play new games like gta v and i cant wait :/

Unfortunately, it really doesn't work that way. Figuring out what the best upgrade for the money is, is about all that can be done, and when you don't know the price, based on region, that's impossible.


Honestly, upgrading the GPU card is the only thing you'll be able to do that makes any sense based on your budget. Something like the R9 380 or GTX 950 are likely to be your best options.

That's still going to leave you with a CPU bottleneck because your current platform is not going to keep up with any current gen graphics cards and buying older graphics cards is a waste of money, and will still be limited by the CPU if they're tiered high enough to be worth the investment.

That would probably give you about twice the CPU performance and at least twice the GPU performance you currently have. Having an adequate power supply will be extremely relevant as well. Good luck.
