Hi comunity, no tech-savvy argentinian here for the first time. i have a desktop with a uhd 630 (i7 8700, mobo z370 gaming m5), and 16gb of ddr4 ram. I would like to know if i can dedicate or redirect some of that ram to the 630, so i can play some games on it (it seems that what it needs is more dedicated video ram, going by systemrequerimentslab). tnks for the help! And the obligatory "sorry for the bad english"

Solution
you can go into your bios, go to the advanced tab, then to integrated graphics, and you should be able to change the amount of ram dedicated to it. Hope this helps!
Assuming you know how to get to the bios, you can change the amount of ram is dedicated to the graphics. Just look up about your bois and how to get to the onboard devices so you can change the amount you want to. i think the max is 1gb and the default is 128mb if im not mistaken!

Solution
i have never seen a bios before, but it cant be that hard. thanks for the answer! i would also like to know if this change (the amount of ram dedicated) is permanent, or if it can be reversed later

you can change it back to what it was at before if you want to it is not permanent but it will stay at what you set it to till you change it again.
