Hi,
So i have a home server/backup PC with 12700, before i had 10400F, so i had GT 1030
I know that in 3D benchmarks the GT1030 is faster than UHD 770.
But I only care about desktop usage in 4K/60, also I connect to that PC remotely most of the time, but im using WindowsFX enabled to off load encoding from CPU [btw, any recommendations for good remote access software that feels snappier than builds in windows option?]

I know the 1030 is a low powered GPU but this PC is always on and is it is it has 300+ TB of HDDs, so im trying to optimize power usage

If you aren't running anything graphical, I don't see why the 770 wouldn't be enough. A little more system memory usage though.

Been a while since I had a need beyond RDP.

RealVNC was popular at my previous workplace.
GoToMyPC / LogMeIn (Not sure if those are different, LogMeIn worked for us) Both owned by Citrix now, so I guess it might just be rebranding under the new GoTo brand...
