UHD Monitors causing overheating?

I have two Samsung UHD monitors connected to an Asus Stryker Platinum GEFORCE GE760 video card.

I am experiencing over heating and shutdowns now.

Is the extremely high resolution on a UHD monitor causing the graphics card to work too hard to render on two monitors?

Would adding a second card in SLI fix the issue?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure what the GPU temp is hitting, but my average CPU temp is 40. Once I added the second UHD monitor and began playing two games at once, one on each screen, the temperate climbs steadily to 99 and causes a shutdown.

Install msi afterburner, monitor gpu temps while gaming. Post back with max temps while playing.

Yes 99 degrees is too hot, that means your cpu cooling solution is either improperly installed or insufficient.
