Hi,
Im looking to buy a new mobile phone, EE has the best reception around here so i would like to see if the phone works on this network

the network bands listed are below

UMTS HSPA+ 900 (Band VIII), 850 (Band V), 1900 (Band II), 2100
(Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 40

according to wikipedia EE supports these bands

Frequencies used on the EE network
Frequency Protocol Class
1,800 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
2,100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ 3G
800 MHz LTE (planned) 4G
1,800 MHz LTE 4G
2,600 MHz LTE Advanced 4G

matching numbers seems to suggest that it will work however i have limited knowledge as to whether it will work or not

if anyone could help, that would be great

thanks in advance
Daniel

Solution
Best place to ask would be the service provider you want to use the phone with. Even if technically a certain phone can work with the technology, does not mean that they do some other check or configuration that would make it not work.
