that mobo is unnecessary for two reasons,

1) it is a serious overclockers board, it's pretty much made for LN2 benchmarking.

2) if you're getting a 650W PSU then you sure as heck aren't getting a second 4890 in there without power issues later on. and a 4890 doesn't use up 16 PCIe lanes, you could run two 4890's and they wouldn't use up all those PCIe lanes.

Out of interest what motherboard would you suggest then? I picked the board for a couple of reasons.

I want to try out some overclocking on this system (nothing special as I have never really overclocked before).

The price is really nice for an FX chipset.

I like the fact it comes with a daughterboard for the audio.

Although I wont be running XFire straight away, once the DX11 cards come out and are reasonably priced I would like the option to run XFire later.
