Ultimate PC BUILD? Photo Editing

Hello! I am looking to invest and by invest i mean for this machine to last for quite some time!

I am a professional photo editor and creative designer looking for a beast of a machine. I went onto this website Chillblast. This is what i found and what i selected.

Any advice on if this will last for quite some time and also any additional components I may need or! to any in this offer that I dont really need? the lower the cost ofcourse better but im not afraid to pay for the best.

The PSU is not good quality, you can get a MUCH better GPU, and 500GB SSD if you'd like to custom build one, for a cheaper price.

Well the thing is i dont no anything about pcs really. only ever re-placed psu and memory. hard to find something that wont rip you off and will last.

Overpowered/overpriced CPU and RAM, but a subpar GPU in comparison.
As mentioned, PSU is shoddy for such a high end build.

It's not really hard to build a PC yourself, just a matter of putting some components in place, everything's on manual really, everything is with Warranty, and good, reliable brands are made to last, ultimately your decision though
You can follow some DIY custom PC building series on Youtube, its a matter of days and you'll know the basics well. And custom PC will be much cheaper than pre-builts, with more performance, take my word here.

Also, what is your backup situation like? If this is a machine to generate actual income, you must have a good backup situation in place.

backup situation? I do commissions for companys. But in terms of a backup machine my current is good but not amazing.

Backup situation, as in backing up your data. Not an extra machine to keep working, but copies of whatever you are working on in case of disaster.
Dying hard drive, flood, fire, virus, theft, accidental deletion or corruption, etc, etc....

well for individual clients i would probably upload the files to a cloud of some sort. I just had my external drive with my client work on corrupt and die so i plan to have that sorted.

Personally, I wouldn't be comfortable with a cloud only solution, but if you are, go for it.

Any file, especially image and video, that exists in only one place may be said to not exist at all.

For an income generating system, you really need multiple layers.

1. The working file on the PC
2. Possibly on another drive in that same PC
3. On a whole other PC
4. Long term storage elsewhere...possibly 'the cloud'. Or even a rotating set of drives that you store elsewhere.

It's just one of those things you have to do.
And many people don't think about it, until 2 minutes after that realize they needed a backup copy.
Then it is actually too late.

"oops...my cloud provider went out of business. How can I get those files?"
"oops...a virus encrypted all my files! What can I do?"
"oops...I accidentally formatted the wrong drive."

+1, multiple backups are always recommended for any person with some imp or valuable data. Security of that backup is as important.
