I had to give my desktop computer (Windows 10) a hard stop due to an exigency in my room, without giving it a shutdown as I normally do. I had some trouble while booting up but after checking disks and taking a bit of time it finally came on again.
I checked for Windows updates and installed them and then restarted, and this time it started without any problem although I felt that it took a few more seconds during bootup after the Win 10 logo display but I am not sure.
I then ran a HDDScan SMART report which shows everything as green except Ultra DMA CRC Errors giving it a value of 200 which is the worst. Everything seemed to be fine until having to suddenly turn off the computer, so I presume the cause could be that.
How do I fix this error, without having to replace anything given that at this time no computer parts are easily available at least for another few weeks(or longer)?
