Ultra-wide 1080p or 4k Monitor

I don't really know what to pick, my budget is around $300 and I mostly watch YouTube videos and edit videos, I sometimes play games such as CSGO, League of legends, Osu. I run a gtx 1070

If you have the money go for 4k its really worth with gtx 1070
I myself have a 2560x1080 monitor and its the worse monitor you can get if you only watch youtube videos and play competiteve games .
Btw for cs go you might want to lower the resolution

Best of both worlds if you have the money - split the difference and get a 1440p G-sync ultrawide like the Acer Predator or the Asus ROG swift.
