I've noticed that for the past few months this monitor appears to be in
short supply because of the delay in shipping warning. How come? Can't Dell
get enough of these monitors?

I just got a Dell 1901fp....within the past month......I had a a 3 week wait
before shipping.
Dell has yet to keep up with the demand. The Dell LCD 1901fp and other sizes
in this
fp series are top rated by most magazines..PC Mag, PC World, etc. Which is
keeping
the demand for these monitors very high.

Please give us a review of it.
How is it for text and photo graphics?
How about response time in games?
How is it in non native resolutions?
etc.

I use a CRT for 3d games........many people use these monitors for 3-d games
though.

Here is review of the Dell 2001 FP LCD monitor.....The Dell 1901FP...should
not be
much different besides screen size. Review is by MaximumPC.

I only use my Dell 1901FP for everything besides gaming....

For Games I use A Samsung CRT Monitor....

I'm not sure that is true. Dell uses different suppliers for the different
size LCD panels. Are you sure the 1901 and the 2001 are the same
manufacturer? I seem to remember they are not.

Two months ago I ordered a Dell computer with an Ultrasharp 1901. It
was noted that the shipment might be delayed because of the 1901. The
computer and monitor arrived 3 days after I e-mailed the order.

I have dell movie studio capture box for analog video/audio input, bought
from Dell as part of the Movie Stdio package. It worked fine for about a
year and has now stopped working

Get error message on running diagnostic saying 'Error 4 failed to locate
1394 camera #1'

Dell has not been much use. I have checked all cables. reseated the cord on
the computer

Any ideas?
