Ultrawide 16:9 GTX960

So I have a pc with a GTX960 4GB, and i'm currently using an Hannspree 21.5'' TV as my monitor and i really need to change it. After doing some research i fell in love with the LG 29UM59-P ultrawide monitor. The problem with it is that I've read that 2560x1080 is really hard to run on a GTX960 with 60fps. So my question is should I get this monitor and if the game demands it play at 16:9 1080p with black bars in order to get 60fps?Or should I just go with a different monitor? If anyone is running this setup (GTX960 4GB at 2560x1080) please share your experience.

I have a GTX980 with a 3440x1440 ultrawide. I think you'll be ok at 2560x1080. 2560x1080 is only a little more pizels than regular 1080p at 1920x1080. You should be able to get close to 60fps in most common games like fortnite.

In games like R6S or F1 2017 or NFS 2015 (more demanding than Fortnite or CS:GO) how much do you think I'm going to struggle?
