Ultrawide and Nintendo switch

I basically want to get an ultrawide for when I buy a switch for smash, but how will smash or other Nintendo games look on it. Does the switch naturally adapt or will it stretch out. Ask questions is u need to.

I right now have a dual monitor setup, 27" main and 24" side i need to sell them to get the ultrawide

Many console games don't convert well to 21:9, many will have black bars or will be stretched. If they do stretch then you will lose some vertical sight. Unless your using this monitor with a PC as well I would recommend using a 16:9 monitor or HDTV.
