ultrawide for gaming?

Should I get a 29" ultrawide or a 27" 16:9? Which is these is better for gaming? The 27" is about $100 cheaper than the ultrawide. I am currently using a 21.5". I have looked at the difference in size on displaywars.com but I can't decide which one to get.

I don't like ultrawide monitors any smaller than 32" inches at the games look unusually narrow vertically. I would recommend a 27 inch monitor instead.
